After failing to secure a faculty position because of the controversy surrounding her thesis in the Philosophy department, 35 years old  Sophia needs to take a hard look at her life choices. Since her part-time job managing the community center art gallery isn’t enough to pay for her own apartment, Sophia “temporarily” moves in with her brother Karim, 3 years her senior. Given their intense, symbiotic relationship, he’s more than happy to share his place with his little sister. This unbreakable bond will be put to the test when, for the first time in his life, Karim falls head over heels in love with Sophia’s doctor Eloïse. This separation that feels to Sophia like a breakup is going to force her to question her real purpose in life and make choices that will allow her to finally become an adult.
