The White Chapel

Simon Lavoie —2005

Fiction / 40 min / 35 mm / 1.85:1 / colour

For a long time, Rose-Flore has lived in seclusion, away from a constantly changing world, following her old way of life. One day, she learns that the white chapel facing her house will be transformed into a tourist attraction. Jérémie, a young man, is hired to paint it blue. Rose-Flore is visited by painful nostalgia as she makes an ultimate attempt at intimacy. The heavens answer.
