Silent Remains

Mathieu Denis —2006

Fiction / 23 min / 16 mm / 1.85:1 / colour

Philippe, a twenty-five year old who still lives with his parents, is woken at dawn by two police inspectors. He is brought to the station to be interrogated about his father's murder. Between the interrogation room, where the inspectors try to make him confess, and the observation room, where they are confronted with their own inner natures, the noose of tragedy tightens.
